vary by
location. Be sure
to check with the Kids’ Nite Out Across America® program in your area.
How much does it cost?
Admission is $10.00 per child per evening at most
locations. Food and
beverages are available for purchase, with prices
ranging from 50 cents to $2.50.
What are the program hours?
Most locations are open from 7 pm to 10:30 or 11 pm.
Please check the Kids’ Nite Out Across America®
location closest to you to confirm its hours.
Can
I drop my kids off or must I bring them into the
building myself?
You or an
authorized adult must bring your child into the facility
and fill out a Membership Form the first time each
school year that your child attends our program at any
KNOAA location. Your child’s safety is very important to
us; therefore we highly encourage you to personally
bring your child into the facility and sign them into
our program and personally come into the facility at the
end of the evening to pick them up. A $5 late fee will
be charged for every 15 minutes past the closing time
that you pick your child up.
How is the program staffed?
We have one pre-screened staff member for every 15 to 20
kids (maximum), and a uniformed police officer is on
duty all evening at each location. At facilities with
pools, certified lifeguards are on duty during pool
hours.
What activities are there for the kids?
Sports (basketball, hockey, soccer, dodgeball, races,
etc.), games, swimming, dancing, inflatables, trivia and
much more!
What types of food are available?
Choices may include: pizza, nachos, french fries, hot
dogs, chips, pretzels, candy, soda pop, sports drinks,
and bottled water.
Can kids win prizes?
Yes! Prize cards and candy cards are awarded to the kids
throughout the night for winning, losing or simply for
participating in the various activities of our program.
Kids also may purchase prizes. Prices vary from 50 cents
to $4.00, depending upon the item.
Are there specific pool hours?
Yes. Pools are open for 2 hours (from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm
at most locations with an indoor pool), and lifeguards
are on duty the entire time. However, not all facilities
have pools, so you should check with your local program.
Is any special clothing or equipment required?
Kids should dress for a night of active fun. Gym shoes
are suggested, but please note that black-soled shoes
are not permitted on the gymnasium floor at most
facilities.
For kids who will participate in the pool activities, a
swimsuit and towel are needed and flip-flops or other
protective footwear is suggested. Lockers are provided
at most facilities, but kids must bring their own locks.
We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
